Blanca Chavez 

Blanca Chavez is an attorney at Wisner Baum’s Los Angeles office, focusing primarily on pharmaceutical mass tort litigation. Before joining our firm in 2024, Blanca was an associate at another Los Angeles firm, working closely with clients in a wide variety of personal injury and mass tort cases. 

At Wisner Baum, Blanca is a vital member of the legal teams handling over 11,000 Zantac cancer cases and more than 3,500 toxic baby food claims. As the daughter of immigrants and a first-generation attorney, Blanca relates to her clients with empathy and resilience. She is driven by deep-rooted compassion for victims of injustice and prides herself on handling her cases with humanity, strength, and reasonableness. 

Blanca earned her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology with a minor in Gender Studies from UCLA. In 2021, she received her law degree from Southwestern Law School where she graduated in the top 10% of her class. 

During law school, Blanca was co-president of the Latino Law Student Association, served on the Moot Court Honors Program, the Southwestern Law Review, and was a senior writing fellow for her law school’s writing center. She also externed for the Honorable Dean D. Pregerson in the United States District Court, Central District of California and interned for the Professional Standards Division of the City of Los Angeles Fire Department. 

Outside the office, Blanca leads an active lifestyle driven by her lifelong love of sports, baseball in particular. A softball player in her youth, she and her family enjoy traveling to new baseball stadiums each year to take in a couple of games.
