Three Killed in Private Plane Crash

|

Many private planes fly here in California. A great deal of harm can occur when a private airplane crashes. Sadly, such airplane accidents often result in fatalities.

There are many different things that can result in private plane accidents occurring. One potential cause is human error, such as negligence by a pilot or an air traffic controller. Another potential cause is mechanical failure, such as an instrument malfunction or a break-down of a control component. Poor weather conditions, such as fog, snow or ice, can also sometimes cause such accidents.

Recently, a private airplane accident occurred in another state, Texas.

Early Monday morning, a private plane tried to land twice in the Amarillo-area, but on both occasions ended up aborting. It was heavily foggy at the time. Contact between the plane and air traffic controllers then broke off. The plane ended up crashing. The crash occurred about 2 miles away from an area airport.

The plane in question was a single-engine Beechcraft Bonanza aircraft. It had three occupants at the time of the accident. Two of the occupants were married to each other and the third was their son. According to the article on KCBD’s website which reported on this airplane crash, all three of these individuals died as a result of the accident.

This airplane crash is currently under investigation by the Federal Aviation Administration. One wonders what discoveries will be made during this investigation and what federal investigators will ultimately find to have been the cause of this aviation accident.
